On to the next..

Whilst driving through my old home town of Centerville tonight I was literally curb-stomped by the evil demon bitch that is nostalgia. I have no clue as to why I become strangely sentimental every time back to school season comes around. But, because of those unknown reasons and maybe due to the fact that I have a semi-deathly-dark-&-ominous CD in my car right now, I have a lot of feelings.

PAHAHA…

Moving on, since we all know how much (yes, all three of you..hi Mom), I love lists..I’ve decided to start a list that includes all of my “feelings.” I figure I will call it the:

I know that I will never go back to High School/have a real need to buy a pencil box EVER again/why does the smell of that persons sprinkler hitting the grass over there remind me of my old tramp sleepovers days thus making me want to curl up and cry?, list.

But, summer isn’t over yet and so you’ll all just have to tune in next week to see what that tragic-hotmess of a list will entail.

IN OTHER NEWS:

-I painted for the first time with Melinda last Saturday. It was quite fun, and although I just swished a cheap as dirt brush on an equal in quality canvas–I was left feeling inspired, which I think means something.I’ve changed some of them a bit..but overall I’m happy with these hotartmesses.

-Another bout of inspiration has no doubtly come from my recent communications class research on Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture. I’d recommend anyone to spend the time to watch the video. It’s great.

-As a side note, anyone needing any advice? I really have only two words for this: LIFE. CHANGING.

LOVES,

B

p.s.

“Anybody can get chewed out. It’s the rare person who says, oh my god, you were right. As opposed to, no wait, the real reason is… We’ve all heard that. When people give you feedback, cherish it and use it.

Show gratitude.

Don’t complain. Just work harder.

Be good at something, it makes you valuable.

Work hard.

Find the best in everybody. You might have to wait a long time, sometimes years, but people will show you their good side. Just keep waiting no matter how long it takes. No one is all evil. Everybody has a good side, just keep waiting, it will come out.

Be prepared. Luck is truly where preparation meets opportunity.

Guess I need to work on gaining a skill or two. BALLS.
