Who am I? Seriously. I don’t know how I get myself into these amazing opportunities – but I have found myself with an internship in the big apple for the summer. I am so excited/scared to start this adventure (I am moving in less than THREE weeks).

Attended my first Real Salt Lake game with my old friend Kacy!
Road tripped to Vegas with S&J to see Florence + The Machine at the Cosmopolitan

Finished my first semester at the University of Utah – looked like this after finals:

Shambled my way through my farewell dinner before I left for my 2 month internship in London 
Laughcried at my encouraging messages from J after I got to the airport and was throwing up with nerves
Fell in love with London + adventure-ing
Explored Londontown with Stef & Jackie when they both came to visit for a week
Hung with the Royals..NBD
Saw Coldplay for the 3rd time in the Emirates Stadium (most amazing concert experience..EVER)
Interned with Bell Pottinger Consumer for the Piccadilly Big Jubilee Lunch and became besties with HRH Prince Charles
JUNE
Visited the Dachau concentration camp in Munich on a day trip from London
Got some vibes from stonehenge
Pulled pranks with my flatmates
Learned a great deal about British culture from our English Professor, Keith
Visited the city of Brighton and competed early in the 2012 London Olympics
Got SO excited upon seeing the London Bridge with Olympic paraphernalia
JULY
Ended my internship on July 4th with a bang…

Cried the whole way home
Got back to my apartment in Salt lake to the warmest of welcomes

Went to ‘Chic’AGO with Jackie to visit Victor and go to Lollapalooza 
Stalked The Black Keys with J at Lolla ’12
Visited my M&D in Guatemala where I attempted to learn how to make a pie

SEPTEMBER
Spent some quality time with the amazing lil’ hotmess. My favorite little brother 
Took an impromptu trip to Mesa to attend the ASU VS UofU football game with Meli
Visited the Jr High that was named after my Gramps with my Gramps. Amazing man!

OCTOBER

Visited Kate in San Diego and went up to Burbank to see Jay Leno!
Celebrated Thanksgiving with my family and gave myself an olive manicure 
Wished my lovely Grandma a very happy 85th birthday in heaven
Wished my nephew Elliot a very happy 4th birthday 
 Watched Emily’s solo as the Mouse Queen in the Nutcracker
Watched Noelle as a mouse and angel in the Nutcracker
DECEMBER
Celebrated the ending of finals in my Christmas slippers 
Worked real hard at a Mom It Forward event
Went on a birthday shopping spree with Noelle at City Creek during the making of a winter wonderland
Was Red with Jesika for T.swift’s birthday
Reunited with BBW workers at Lil’ Ward’s wedding
Partied my life away at my sissy’s end of the world party
Visited with my boys at Jam with S and Victor (WHATTABABE)
Tonight I attended Stef’s New Year’s Eve party with Jackie. I love these girls!
Woah! What an amazing year. I am really excited for 2013 – I am going to make something of myself, just you wait and see.

This past weekend I spent around 9 hours at the movies. I saw Les Miserables, Django Unchained, and Lincoln.
Django Unchained:
Quentin Tarantino you’ve done it again! I loved, loved, LOVED this movie. Jamie Foxx was superb and so was Leo.
Woah. DDL was AMAZING. I have had a little crush on Mr. Lincoln ever since I saw him at the Lincoln memorial in D.C. when I was 8. What an amazing man! I cried at the end, like tears streaming down ma’ face.
There are some really good flicks out there! Go and get some popcorn and enjoy any/all.

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
Mine was amazing! I got off of work on Christmas Eve and drove to my sissy’s house. We had dinner and then watched White Christmas. Bing Crosby is such a babe! After that I turned on the A Christmas Story for my nieces.
While waiting for all of the kiddies to fall asleep, my sisters and brother and I wrapped my mom’s big present. A first edition of her favorite book! Ken Sanders Rare Books helped me find it in LONDON (her favorite place in the whole world).
Christmas Eve shenanigans:
After all the kiddies fell asleep, we brought up all of the presents. WOAH! There were so many. Then at 8:30 a.m. everyone rushed upstairs and we started opening our prezzies. I love Christmas – I was spoiled rotten and so was everyone in my family.

Yesterday my Mom and Dad planned a whole day for our family. First, we went and saw The Christmas Carol which was AMAZING! After the play we took about a million pictures together and then got some dinner at the Little America Coffee Shop. So yum! After dinner we wandered through City Creek and looked at the Macy’s shop windows and the lights at Temple Square.
