A few month’s ago I was at my sister’s house and I saw one of those book catalogs that I used to get in elementary school. I always used to circle at least 5 or 6 books, including book series subscriptions. My mom (who is the definition of book worm) ALWAYS let me get all the books I wanted. To say that my book collection as a kid was extensive..is a bit of an understatement. One book that I absolutely adored and often referred to for the answers to many of my life’s questions was a how-to, all things teenager. Being that I was in 6th grade and not yet an actual teenager, I LOVED reading this book and acting as though I was one.
ANYWAYS, the book gave great advice for slumber parties, make it yourself facials (sorry again mom for ruining that spot on the kitchen countertop), and various tips on ways to be healthy, have good skin and be confident.
One tip I took very seriously was that you should crack your window just a tidge to let air circulate your room throughout the night, which would do something for you…(can’t remember).
MOVING ON, I have since then cracked my window open (mostly) every night. Seeing as I used to live in my parent’s basement it would get to be about -7000 degrees in my room by morning (I blame that for the reason I could never get out of a bed). In 2008 (after I almost died of hypothermia for 5+ years) I bought a heated mattress pad on a whim at khols.
BEST DECISION I’VE EVER SPONTANEOUSLY MADE. This is the only explanation I am going to give on why:
