This past weekend I drove up Spanish Fork Canyon with my bestie Jesika to go and spend a few nights at her family cabin. First off, can I just say how much I effin love cabins? You see, I am the baby in my family and so I missed out on all the fun family trips to Lake Powell, visiting my grandparents in Flagstaff, camping, ALL THAT JAZZ. Since I don’t have very many bonding memories with my own family roughing it out in a cabin, houseboat, or tent — I find that I am always SUPER excited when I get invited to encroach on someone else’s family and make those memories. Anyways, here are some pictures from the trip. The cabin sat honestly 10 feet from the lake (which was freeeeeezing). I guess it’s the fullest it has been for a long, long time.

No better way to celebrate the 4th of July weekend. I love my “adopted” family.
