Dear mum,
Happy Mother’s Day! As I am writing this, I am fighting back some serious tears because whenever I think about you and how much I love you – it seems overwhelming. I was looking through pictures of you on my computer and just wanted to tell you how much I love you, how beautiful you are, and how my life is what it is because of everything you do for me. I wish you were closer so that I could give you a hug & kiss (and maybe a baby ruth).
