Happy 70th Birthday |

Today was simply amazing. I don’t even know where to start!

First off….it was #BeAFriend Friday. So, naturally pretty much everyone added, “be a friend” to the end of every comment. It was hilarious. But, it was also cool to see our community get involved to help raise awareness to stop bullying. The day went along like normal….here is a picture of me creeping on AAdams filming a package:

Then, around 11a.m. a mass email went out from Natalie (my boss, and the social media director) that she wanted to remake this:

The best part was that I was on the news, like, a million times today. I AM FAMOUS:

After work – tonight was the night I have been looking forward to for weeks! My siblings and I planned to have my brother Jeff fly in from Fargo, ND (where he lives) to surprise my parents at dinner (they just traveled to UT this afternoon). We got to The Bayou around 6p.m. I was pretty nervous and anxious and so were my sibs waiting for my parents to arrive. We strategized a plan on how to surprise them and then just waited:

Jeff sat in the corner of the restaurant and waited. We had him sneak up and jump into a picture I had bugged my parents into letting me take. It worked perfectly and my parents’ reactions were HILARIOUS:

One of my favorite parts was when Jeff butts in and says “mind if I cut in?” and my dad just responds “come on!” I can’t believe that it didn’t even phase them that some random guy was photobombing. Cari got an amazing picture of them before they knew and then she started filming after it clicked with my mom. PRICELESS.
